As of this date SB 20, An Act Prohibiting the Import, Sale and Possession of African Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Black Rhinoceros , White Rhinoceros, and Giraffes has passed the Connecticut State Senate. It still must clear the House of Representatives and the Governor. The legislation is founded on false information provided by the animal rights groups.
Do not fear, it is illegal and should be invalidated in federal court.
